Each module has between three-five lessons ranging from 2:00-9:00 minutes each for a total of 74 videos. There is a total of 6 hours of actual online videos content along with quizzes, class exercises and discussions. The website content is also a part of the curriculum.

The Full Series includes the Beginners and Advanced Courses for a five-course program that provides both CTE hard skills and contextualized soft skills instruction for students pursuing a career in Arts, Media, and Entertainment. Through interviews with film industry professionals, SFPA includes 6 hours of online content with 74 video lessons running two to nine minutes each, 100% online, and can be taught in as little as 6 weeks up to 18 weeks. This program includes curriculum aids with summaries, discussion questions and answers, downloadable PDFs and quizzes. A Certificate of Completion is available for students who watch 90% of videos and pass a 50-question multiple choice exam to receive Certificate Of Completion.

With two hours of videos and downloadable PDFs, the Beginners Series is an excellent primer for freshman and sophomore students to get an introduction into what it’s like to be a Film Production Assistant.

The Advanced Series is a three-course program which continues with additional soft skills but also teaches many of the hard skills such as how to talk on a walkie talkie, how to process petty cash, what is the transpo department and why will that be important to any PA plus many more of the actual hands on skills needed to perform this job. **Prerequisite: The Beginners Series for final certification.

Simple Sign Up
It’s simple to sign up and get your students enrolled into the courses
Send us which courses and the number of licenses you would like to purchase.
We send you a quote with any discounts included.
You will need to send us their first and last names and a school email address or we can create anonymous email accounts to sign them up. Once they’re signed up they will change their account and password.
When we receive a PO# back we issue an invoice. Then we can immediately sign your students up for the 10 month license. SFPA is a straight-forward web-based program. You will receive the link to login and create an account. Your students will receive the exact same email and the process is the same.
The signup process consists of a 20 minute consultation for the LMS platform where we can answer any of your questions at this time.
