Course 1 - Film Production Overview

The First Course gives an overview of the job of a typical PA. Find out exactly what Directors and Producers are looking for from a PA. Learn how to find and develop a client list, how to approach your first day on the job, who-is-who on a set, what’s a call sheet, what can happen on location and how to prepare yourself for the adventure ahead!
Course 2 - Film Production - The Real World
With Course 2 we explore deeper into the world of locations, open and closed sets, and why communication on a set is so important and how to learn to listen, yes there is a method. Learn some of the nuances of how to move forward in the industry using mentors and why being prepared is key to success. There is a lot to discover!

Course 3 - Film Production on Set

Want to be a seasoned Production Assistant? Course 3 teaches the hard skills of some of the most common jobs a PA will be doing when working on a film set including craft services, petty cash, parking, posting, signage and permits. Want to be able to interact with celebrities on a set? Look and feel like a pro!
Course 4 - Film Production Rules
There is a lot to know when working with professionals while on a film set. Course 4 teaches some difficult topics , including what to do when the set goes south. Learning the in’s and out’s of the transpo department and why that will be important to any new PA. We teach the basics on how to get up to speed on walkie talk and how to navigate a live film set.
